Ness is now taking commissions

After a long hiatus from doing custom artwork, Ness is now taking a limited number of commissioned artworks.

NOTE: There are limited commissions taken on each month, with Christmas being the busiest time of year. Contact us ASAP for information. Christmas orders filling up!

Art Commission Process

  1. Submit a number of pictures of the subject(s) you would like to be created
  2. Indicate if you would like a special background or style from one of Nessy’s previous artworks
  3. Indicate what size canvas or print you would like and if you would like it framed, stretched or rolled.
  4. Let us know what date you need this by. The more time allowed, the greater chance we can fit you into the schedule.
  5. We will contact you regarding the available timeframes and a costing based on your requirements
  6. Once accepted, we will invoice you for the Art Fee. This will need to be paid before the design will be started.
  7. A rough outline of the artwork will be sent before major work is started
  8. Once the concept is agreed upon, work will commence towards the completed artwork.
  9. A low resolution image will be sent for your approval. We will allow up to 2 alterations.
  10. Once final artwork is approved, the invoice for the printing and framing will need to be paid.
  11. Printing, framing and signing will take about 2 weeks from final payment.
  12. Free shipping or delivery may take an additional week.

Indicative Costs

  • Simple single subject artwork fee starts at $500
  • Multiple subjects and/or complicated subjects will be an additional charge
  • Backgrounds will be additional based on complexity.
  • Printing and Framing will be charged at our current Open Edition pricing (i.e. 100x75 framed canvas would be $995)
  • FOR EXAMPLE: Single Subject, no background, 100x75cm Framed Canvas $1,495
